how do you drain a radiator that's in a 1997 jeep Cherokee with out using the drain bolt on the side of the block? its an I6

Pull the right headlight bezel and parking light [four screws total] and you'll see the petcock on the lower corner of the radiator. It unscrews counter clockwise and is not readily accessible, some just pull the lower hose to drain.

Or just pull the lower radiator hose off of the radiator or the water pump, whichever you feel is easier to access.

Just do the radiator hose. That petcock is useless.
