exhaust leak cause a missfire?

At idle I have some sparatic missfire, sometimes through the rpm range as well. A few times when taking off from a full stop it acts like it wants to stall out but doesn't. I know I have a large exhaust leak due to a broken rear stud. My question is could the leak throw off my o2 sensor and cause a rough idle. TPS, distributor, wires, plugs, and fuel preasure have all been tested and replaced as needed. It's possible that when I did the dizzy that I put it one tooth off but I have read on here that it shouldn't matter. This missfire was there pre dizzy replacement anyways. This is on an 89 renix 6 cyl.

yes, a very large exhaust leak at the manifold could be the problem. a large leak can cause problems with the o2 sensor.
