Trans cooler splicers

I want to add my trans cooler and ordered some hose splicers but have a quick questions. The splices say they are for "air hose", they look like the brass once Ive seen used before. Should they be ok or will it be a problem?

They are Hose I.D.:3/8" Napa part #NTH90552, which is the correct size from what Ive read...

As long as they fit snugly in the rubber line you'll be fine.

Ok, just wasnt sure if air splicers were a certain material that might not survive against trans fluid.
