how to cut MY rear fenders

i got the fronts pretty good, but when i ran into the spot welds, it came a problem. I want to trim to the line right above the holes but when i already made one cut, it opened up the weld. before i go any further, what is the best way to do that. any pointers? or good quality pics

You can cut and reweld, or just make releaf cuts and then fold the metal back into the wheel well. Those are your two options.

I did the relief cuts and folded them in. Worked well.
