Wiring in an overhead console

I have the Chilton's manual, but it doesn't get specific. Here's the deal:
I have a 91 overhead console that I want to put into my 96 that previously didn't have one. I have the lights working, but don't know what goes to the temp guage and what goes to the compass. The colors don't match up. On a side note... I want to make sure I have the right part, is the temp sensor the part that has what looks like a nipple at the end of it? Thanks

Hallo. Only wires that I known;
In the large black connector; violet/green is temp.sensor input
black/blue is temp.sensor ground.
The nipple is the sensor to end of the wires under the front of the car.:laugh:
