want to know what length shocks u all are running. im going with 6 inch lift and kit didnt come with shocks. whats the distance of travel in a shock needed that will work well with 6 inches?

Should work fine with any 6"-8" lift
if your not willing to measure for them.

thanks. if i do measure for them. u just take the distance for fender to hub. but dont know if that the compressed length or the amount of travel that u need.

No. You measure from the upper shock mount to the lower shock mount.
You want to remove your shocks before you do this and completely compress the tire up into the fender and then completely down until the spring is completely uncompressed.
