Im thinking my np231 might need rebuild soon and i was looking at the costs and was wondering if it would be cheaper to just get a transfer case out of a newer jeep. I found an np231 from a 1997 tj for $300. Is there any difference between this tc and the one in my 1994 cherokee? Thanks for any help.
