What type of ATF does a 99 ZJ take?

1999ZJ is going to have a ChryCo tranny (probably a 42RE,) which will want ATF +3/+4. Use +4 to be safe - it's reverse compatible with +3.

(The AW4 was only in the ZJ in early 1993 - after that, it was replaced with the 4xRx series - usually the 42RH/42RE.)

I thought the 93-98 Grands were ZJ's and 99-03 were WJ's? I'm not trying to be a smart ass, I just want to know if I'm wrong.

I think you're right - I just have a hard time keeping up sometimes...

[NOTES]
1993-1998 = ZJ
1999-2003/4 (?) = WJ
2004/5-up = WK
[/NOTES]

I need to clarify the break between the WJ and WK more fully - apparently, I haven't found an "authoritative" source yet (no, Wiki doesn't count - I use it as a jumping-off point only...) that confirms anything.
