Other than purchasing limiting straps from a 4wd shop , what else can be used? where do you guys mount them? need em bad!
not really close to any 4x4 oriented shop

I saw the same setup. Cmoore from PNWjeep. Thanks Chris for the Idea!
I went to Lowes and purchased:
6' of 1/8" cable (.36/ft)
4 1/8" cable clamps (.39 ea)
Misc hardware from the bolt box= free
for less than 10 bones I limited my sheeit to 22 "

YMMV

loop around the axle and mount to the unibody?never really seen a setup

I used old seat belts, and some home made 1/4'' brackets.

I thought hard about the seatbelt thing (using the buckles for the adjustment) but couldn't source them cheaply enough.

Did you sew them yourself, or pay someone?

Tractor Supply Co sells two different kinds here. Normal and HD, the work great from the bottom control arm mount at the axle to the upper control arm mount at the frame. I know 3 or 4 people running this set up.

Not on a Cherokee but seen cable use to restrict movement for hills . They were removable for more flex when needed.

x2, thats what I use. They are load binders that normally wrap around the axle.

I've ran the cable stuff and it busted but the straps are holding up great.

I went the wire rope route run inside the springs. Cheep, effective. Keeps the springs in.

Bolted to the fabricated spring retainers at the bootom of the spring bucket, and bolted to the inner fender well.

I used my stock belts that I had lying around, so they were "free" for me. I used half of a belt for each one.

I actually had my girlfriends mom sew them up for me. She did three big Xs with stitching around the edges. Looked like this: IXXXI but with stitching along the sides as well. I asked her to do triple stitching on it as well.

So far its worked fine for almost two years. Very little stretch in the belts, and all the stitching is holding up fine.

Edit:
Here are a couple more options:

I've seen lengths of chain used. They work. Just weld bolts to axle and "frame" and then put the desired length of chain between the two bolts.
