ZJ Tie Rod

I want to go get a V8 ZJ tie rod. Figured that instead of driving an hour to the closest Pick a part, I would go try the salvage yard on the corner of my street. Problem is that this place isnt a pick a part type place. So my question is, Do the non V8 ZJ tie rods look just like the factory XJ ones. Dont want them to sell me a non V8 one just to make themselves some money.

Yes, the V8 ZJ tie rods are solid and the 4.0 ZJ tie rods are not. Try taking an end off the tie rod and see if you can see through it.
