radiator overflow bottle

Can anyone tell me at what level the overflow bottle should in relation to thr top of the radiator?
I have a custom instalation with the radiator mounted at 20 degrees from horizontal and above the engine.

Do you have pic of what you describe? So the top of the rad is higher than the top of the overflow? open or closed cooling system?

The top of the radiator is about 12" above the overflow bottle. The rad cap is a 13# pressure cap. I am sorry, but I'm not sure whether it is open or closed. not too savey on this subject. I don't have any pictures as the instalation is in Ga, and I am in Fla. at this time.
