longer wheelbase?

has anyone ever spun their rear leaves 180 degrees and set their axle back to lengthen wheel base? or is this even possible?
this just popped into my head i havent even researched or anything
:dunno: any ideas?
 
You've obviously thought this one through so go ahead and give it a go. Be sure to tell us how it turned it out, however. Or at least how far you got before your lightbulb came on.
 
haha yea i looked at it and you would have to move your gas tank and fabb some shock mounts but it would be easy otherwise- comp cut and a longer driveshaft
 
Putting the long, soft end of the leaf pack forward will greatly increase axle wrap.

If you do it, you're likely going to need some sort of traction bar...

Mine are backwards, it gives you right at 5" of wheelbase. As Robert said above yo will need a traction bar.
 
That's part of the reason brian's isn't there anymore! :D
