fabbing up a new winch bumper!

i need some help i dont have a winch yet but i want to built my new bumper to accomadate one so here is my question for all of you guys out there that have winch bumpers how big is the spot where the winch mounts i figure when i do get a winch it wont be anything big just something small and cheap

if anybody has some measurements that would be really helpful im trying to keep it really low profile and tight to the grill

IIRC most winch mounting holes are 4x10. It differs by brand how big the rest of the unit is.

here's my build thread. I still don't have a winch, I have set one in the tray though. looks like I'll have to trim the grill just a little.
