hey everyone out there i just bought my self a 92 mj and i was wondering if anyone new what other leaf springs from other vechicels i could use to bastard pack mine or if i could use the axle from my cherokee to do a spring over axle on the mj
any info is much appricated

Just get new perches and do the SOA with your existing axle, I just did mine and got about 5-6 inches. Also, Xj perches are set wider apart than an Mj and you would have to move them anyway if you were to use an Xj rear end.

How much lift do you want?

If you want 5.5 inches, do an SOA conversion like Dan said.

I just wanted a small 2 inch boost. So I took some XJ main leafs, cut the eyes off, and added them to the MJ pack.

do not be tempted to just fit on an xj SOA axle, it might fit physically, but is not right, and will eat thru shackle/leaf eye bushings due to the missallignment.


however... 5.5-6 sure is nice on an mj
