rear wiper question

Quick question...

on a 99,
if the motor for the rear wiper is broken...will fluid still spray when you push the rear wiper switch?

The rear wiper on my 99 doesn't work, and neither does the spray...so i was just wondering. If it's not the motor, what else can i check?

They have different power leads but a common ground, so if neither work it makes sense that the ground is bad. OTOH the rear washer can quickly run out of fluid (the line goes from the engine bay, across the ceiling and down the hatch), so I would have somebody hit the button while you listen for noise and make sure it's not just dry and/or clogged.
