RE track bar woes.

I have the RE standard duty adjustable track bar and both the threaded portion and the joint has siezed.
The damn thing creaks like hell, and is driving me nuts!
Are there any options other than buying something else to remedy this? I'd prefer not to replace it.
I have already drilled out the mount to 5/8"

Suspension guru's, is there a TRE that could fit in place?

Would a TRE actually work?

TIA

John

PB Blaster is your friend!
Mine was creaking after some hard wheeling (and a soaking!), and a quick squirt of that stuff was all it took. It will also loosen up the threaded portion.

Bill,

I've already tried that route.

I'm gonna have to try it again and use some heat this time to bust them loose, but now I want to replace it w/ a different design so this does'nt happen again.

Not to overstate the obvious, but just a friendly reminder that the joint end is a left hand thread.... :)
