Have You Replaced Your Upper Shackle Bushings?

As part of my rear suspension overhaul, I'm replacing the very, very sagged factory leaf springs and got new bushings for the two spring eyes and the upper shackle. I was really surprised at how the factory bushing are set up. I don't know how many of you have replaced the factory bushings, but you'd need a big press and a slightly funky arbor to get at least the upper shackle out completely (it isn't perfectly round, as far as I can tell). I got it out with a chisel bit on an air hammer, but my guess was that when people need to deal with the shackle bushings they probably buy a whole new unit?

I decided I wanted to get the Daystar poly bushings in so I did remove the factory bushings, but it was kind of a PITA.
