Trail Fix?

so anyone out there ever tried to fix a vicous fan clutch on the trail? With maybe a beer can or a snake or a stick or all of those?
Doubt if it ever happens to me again but could happen to some one else I might be with.

we had this issue once, pulled it out and used a cordless drill to drive a few long screws thru the clutch.. locked it up nice... hell, he drove it like that for 2 weeks before he replaced it...

Gee I was really hoping to use a snake! Sounds good, we thought of that but were worried about going out of balance and or having the screws snap.
