dana 35 to 8.25 rear end

I switched from a dana 35 to a chrysler 8.25. Once the 8.25 was installed the brake lines coming out of the drums are to short. They bairly fit to were they connect to the e-brake. Can I use dana 35 brake lines coming from the drums to put on my 8.25 rear end? The dana 35 ones were perfect length.

Sure, that's what I did. When I did my swap I had just recently rebuilt my drum brakes, so I kept the entire backing plate and all when I swapped axles.

Did you not keep the stuff from your old axle?
