speedometer question w/ pic

so i stripped the threads on this and the cable won't screw onto it. the guy at the tranny shop who put in my S.Y.E. put some sealant around it and i cant get it off with a screwdriver is there a special tool for removing this piece to put a new one in?

The sealant is holding it down. The little clip is off in the picture so it should just slide out.

Keep prying away. Work around the edge, walking it out.

You can also try scraping away the sealant with a razor blade to try and unstick it.

so try and get it pried out then where can i get a new one?

Junkyard maybe? Probably your best bet.
