Turn signals work most of time, any suggestions

I have a 90 xj and my turn signals work.
But most of the time when i turn them on they will stick and not blink, and some times they will work fine, then sometimes they will start to work after about 10 seconds of not blinking. any help would be great, thanks

and i posted this yesterday and didnt think i did it right but i just found it and 2 people said it was the flasher, but what/ where is the flasher

I was going to post the same thing, that little flasher thingy.

If you've looked online for it and you can't find a diagram you might try going to the auto parts store, buy the part and then look for the same thing on your Jeep. I'm GUESSING that it is under the dash on the drivers side. In/on the fuse box.
