BAAM woke up immediately, got dressed grabbed all my crap and headed out the door (im always late.) so anyway i make it to the clackamas fred myers off of johnson creek in record time, for me anyway.

from that one landing at the fork ware you head up to the towers up about .5mi on the upper road there is a trail that has been closed due to logging operations in the area. it is now open with a new entrance/exit on the landing.

it was just an all around good day. hope yall enjoyed the pics. it was hard work rooting threw 762 pics to find the good ones, but its worth it. the camera was a nikon d60 dSLR. i never took it out of manual mode all day long, if anyone cares.

Good stuff man, and good job for running Manual all day! I get lazy when wheeling and just put her in program to get a quick snap and keep moving. Keep it up!

if i could get mine done i cant wait to get out there to goat. My buddies from work always do winter runs there that was the first i have seen from a summer run.

Those Pics where you guys are "Log Humping" Thats all Private Property. You are lucky you didn't get popped. I was up there a month ago in that spot airing down with a buddy and a ranger and some Port Archerd(sp?) Guy rolled up. They let us go with a warning since we had not done anything yet.

Apparently all the land at the top of hillock Burn road, until you reach the Tall trees is privately owned tree farm. On the Left and the Right it owned by Port Archerd. I have no idea if I am spelling that remotely close..

They also said something about large fines for being caught off the road during certain fire restriction levels..

Nice pics, glad you guys had fun. I would avoid that trail off the the right and left when you first get up there.
