Front Wobble Mystery

took my 97 XJ in for a wheel cylinder and rear brake replacement.
get it back from the mechanic, take it on the highway and its got a pretty good wobble up front from 60pmh and up, steering wheel shakes also.

didn't have the problem before so took it back to have them check it out. they re-balanced the front tires and found out the front 4wd u joints are worn out and a little loose. the balance helped out a little, the wobble doesn't start till 65 mph now.

anyone ever have the same problem of having a worn out u joint throw off your ride?
it makes sense that it could but wanted to check with you guys.

Yup, but for me it was the alingment that was off in the first place, it likely took out the bearing in trying to stay straight.

Replaced the bearing and I got a wobble and a bit of a wander.:dunno:
