3.5 lift questions

I just have a basic question on what you guys might change/repair when you do a lift. Like basic things that might be easier to do when the axles are out etc. nothing too exotic as this is going to be a DD with rare use off road for the wife. I have rear leafsprings, new shocks, going to get new leaf bushings, new ubolts, possibly new shackles (bushings also). Wanted to know what else i might replace when doing this. I figure the basic u-joints, brakes, brake lines but not sure what else.

any suggestions?

if you have the shackles out, it would be easy to install a gas tank skid because of the way the nut strips go into the "frame" rails.
