we moved from ft lewis, wa to ft bliss, tx and during the trip our XJ starting overheating. so far what i have done:

replaced the fan clutch (OEM)
flushed the system, new coolant and added water wetter (royal purple)
new (OEM) radiator also added tranny cooler
high flow 180* thermastat

still over heating but not near as bad as before, now its running about 230* mid-dayhere's what i am considering as options...

high flow thermastat housing
high flow water pump
buy a higher quality radiator

been reading alot and i wanna get this thing under 210* mid-day with the AC on. any suggestions before i shell out the money for a better radiator and water pump??? thanks in advance

my 96 xj was also overheating also. so last week i installed a 3 core all metal radiator, new water pump, high flow thermostat housing, 180* thermostat, upper and lower hoses, trans cooler (removed tranny lines from radiator). and now everything is good to go. runs 180-190 all day long!!!
