brake woes..

well i finally got the gears done and now i dont have brakes...go figure. i put on two new front calipers, and a new booster and master cylinder. i bled the MC, hooked it all up, and started to bleed the brakes. it feels like the pressure starts to build and when its at the best i can get it, i let the air out. however, the pedal wont stay firm. everytime i stop the pedal goes back to the floor. i checked everything for leaks and all is bone dry. they just wont pump up....anyone???

possibly defective MC

Are the calipers on the right side? Bleeders need to be on top.

You need to bench bleed the MC.

yes, the calipers are on the right sides... i had already bench bled the mc, but just tried it again....wish me luck!!!
