OK, now I'm crying here... I figured this was left alone but I received a reply this morning (note that I only mentioned that the ad 'appeared to be made with arrogance'):

Phil,

Thanks for the info. However we list the items exactly how the customer
request us to. I do strongly disagree with your statement in regards to
arrogance. There is no way we can be an expert in everything . No One Can,
and for them to criticize someone for not having the knowledge due to their
obsession with whatever it may be ( Jeeps in this case ) is pretty pathetic.
As told by the customer and doing a little looking around mostly in the Jeep
forums. There was only one year that Jeep / Chrysler put out this particular
motor. So out of all the years beginning in 1940/41 till current a total of
67/68 years they only put this motor out in one. That would have to
constitute rare wouldn't you say? It is also amusing to us that if you do
look around the web you will see a lot of discussions in the jeep forums in
regards to this particular motor and how a lot of the jeep owners want it in
their jeeps. It is also amazing how many responses and request for parts
that we have received for being so arrogant.

Rob

P.S. Feel free to post this in the Great Jeep Owners Message Board

I don't see where it even says what the engine actually is, just a "rare" HO motor. If it's the HO 4.0L, I've got that in my '91, along with probably hundreds of thousands of XJs from that '91-'94 era.

Is it a HO 2.8L or something that I missed?
