'90 xj tranny

so any of you guys have the shifting at the worst times. and do you leave the switch in power or comport?

also if you guys let up on the gas does yours down shift. not a hard down shift but if you hit the gas it shifts back up.

i replaced the tps. and if i put the peddle to the floor it will down shift. and the tranny cable is adjusted to my knowledge. it shifts smooth but at horrible times.

The power switch does not control the shifting. It controls when the converter locks up.
