Pinion angle experts- how's mine look?

96 4.0 4x4 with 8.25 rear....I put a 2" BB with AAL in the rear and 30's, did the RE H-n-T SYE and running a front driveshaft.
So, I have the SYE and CV DS, why am I still getting vibes? Get 'em around 35, then bad at 65 mph.
Do I need to shim the axle up more, or what? I thought it looked ok...but this is my first go around with sye's.

To my naked eye it looks a tad bit low, but it's hard to tell.

Best bet is to get the angle finder out and that's what everyone's going to say...

Do you have any shims in at all? If not you might need 2-3 degrees

Now that you know to get an angle finder, it does appear to be low. It could be the camera or the angle of the picture. BTW Go get an angle finder.

Ok, I put a magnetic base angle finder on the DS, it shows 14 degrees. I put it on the 2 flat spots on top of the rear diff, above/behind where the DS connects, it reads about 7 degrees.
Does this sound right? What shims would I need?

4* shims should be almost perfect!

What is the impact on the pinion angle vs. the lubrication that the pinion bearing receives. Is there ever a point at normal lift heights (i.e. up to about 6-6.5") where the diff pinion would sit too high (with propshaft and diff pinion in within 1 degree of each other) for proper lubrication of the pinion bearing?
