Will AAA tow a vehicle with no motor?

Hahaha, so, the guy who bought my RX7 lives down in San Diego. Instead of spending a million dollars in gas, I figured I'd have it towed AAA. Problem is the car is just sitting there, I mean I guess I could tell the guy the motor fell out while I was driving.

Just leave the hood shut. I don't know AAA rules, but I would think the tower wouldn't care. He gets paid by AAA.

I thought AAA only paid for the first couple of miles? I've always found great deals on Craigslist when I needed a LD tow.

Tell them that you are having it taken to someone to have the engine reinstalled into the car.. hence the tow.. I do it all the time with the rally car..

AAA Plus gives you like 100 or 150 miles I think?

Yea I've got plus, which gives me 3 100 mile tows.

I used AAA a few times to tow my empty mustang shell back & forth to the body shop. No questions asked.
