I had my rear bumper, with tire carrier mounted to the factory rear bumper mounting location and braced to the receiver hitch mounted to the underside of the unibody. When I pulled it off over the weekend I noticed that the sheet metal around the factory mounting nuts was severely cracked. What is the best way to reinforce the rear bumper mounting area to prevent further cracking?
