8.8 question

i have a 1998 xj 4.0 aw4 and i just bought a 8.8 setup already for the xj. was wondering do i need a new mc to run the rear disk?

mc is good but i would change out the proportioning valve to one from a ZJ

Bolt it up and go--it will be at least as good as the drums were. A ZJ or a new adjustable prop valve is supposed to provided more power to the discs--I haven't changed mine yet.

the prop valve also eliminates the residual pressure usually supplied to drums in the rear.
