8.25 ds with d44

Mesure the distance from the yoke on the 8.25 and 44 in 2 locations that are similar like center of the tube to the grove where the ujoint sits center point.

If the mesurments are the same or with in an inch it should work fine. Also the ujoints will need to be the same. I am not sure on this but you could possible get ujoints that will work for the DS and the yoke.

Hope that helps.

yes it should work. if i'm correct it was only 1/4 difference. think that was what i was told.

I didn't change my Drive shaft when I went from a Corp 8.25 to a D-44 rear. It's with in a half inch. You want one inch of compression (Splines showing at ride height) and 3 inches of expansion. (Spines available inside the slip yoke).
