Stinger or Pre-runner

Im looking to get a new front end soon and was debating on which stile of mid-tube i should get. I really do like the looks of the stingers, and i heard that they keep you from smashing up ur top or something in the event of a rollover. I dont have a bar or cage so if i roll it im screwed anyway, are there any disadvantages to running the stinger, or other advantages to it?

Helps to keep you from going end over end. That is general not fun, and ends your day of wheeling or worse :hang:

My stinger has SAVED my life atleast twice, had to be pushed back down off of it. Sure beats the hell out of having to be pushed into the medi-vac:skull2:
