Radiator switch out for a 97 XJ

What are the steps to replacing my XJ's rad, she is running hot under the collar

Not as mechanical as many here but I think you need to find the issue before replacing the radiator. That would only help if the radiator is gunked up. It also could be water pump, heater control valve, and so on. Hopefully others can post the steps to take.
