im looking for a whinch for my 89 xj, 4in lift 33's np231....anyways i found a smittybilt 10,000lb electric winch for 449.99 at winch depot.com. does anyone have any prolems with this winch? i dont want to buy a dud

I got the 8k lb winch and it's worked great.
it's a little slow but it works fine for me!

Search around pirate. There are a few long threads about those winches. My understanding is that they are re-branded T-max winches. They seem to be getting pretty good reviews for a budget winch.
