Got a cooling system question. need help

alright here it is, 1996 cherokee, i have replaced fan clutch, thermostat, water pump. still over heats at highway speed so i am thinking there is a blockage somewhere in the rad. looking to replace it with a rad from the karma thread. Question is whether i have an open or closed system? as far as i know there is a magician in there that waves a wand and cools the engine. Not really. any help is great.

Yup, yer open man. Post up in the for sale section and see who has what bud, maybe someone has an open system type radiator laying around!

you sure they got you the right waterpump? it needs to be the reverse rotation one or it wont work.

yeah made sure it was the reverse rotation one. thanks. any other ideas?

Partially clogged radiator is nearly always the problem, the other stuff is way less frequent.
