I have a 1991 Xj 4.0. I took it out for its first run 2 weeks ago. I noticed my power steering pump started to whine. I took it home and filled the resivore and it didn't leak!! So I got it back out and found out when you steer all the way it to the right or left it slings alot of fluid with the pully!!! Any Suggestions, I can't get in there to see where it is coming from cause I will be covered with fluid!!!

its possible the high pressure hose is leaking at the pump, though they usually spring the leak lower down, at the steering box.

could also be a pump seal, but that is rarely a fast leak point.

You might need a helper to turn the wheel, while you wear some goggles!
