93 I6 starts running crapily, running hot, and puking oil on the driveway. Look and see the distributor jiggling around while its idling. Found hold down screw loose. Extracted distributor, cleaned, reset, installed, tightened, started, and
The distributor is still, but now "Sings" till you drive it around a bit, then the "Singing" goes away...
Jeep runs waayyy better, cooler, and no more puking oil. ?WTF? on the "Singing distributor" thing.
EDIT. After doing what I should have done before posting this, I found some interesting posts concerning "Singing" Distributors. MODS, you may delete this thread now.... Love the search option...
