A little while ago I picked up a older XJ.
I am in the process of fixing it up for trail duty only and want to do this on a tight budget.
Here is what I am working with:
1994 XJ
4.0L H.O - runs mint with 383K/m on it.
The Jeep is not mobile, there seems to be a problem in the drivetrain. Starts up awsome and idles nicely, clutch feels ever so good and shifting is spot on. Problem is the Jeep won't move in 2wd or 4hi. It does move for a couple feet in 4 lo (2 back wheels spin only) but then stops after a few feet. no noises or horrible vibes are felt.
I did a search and rescue on here but came up empty. What could be wrong with my bad boy?
Once I lick this issue, then I am off into mod land and see what I can do do lift this on the cheap!
Thanks for any and all suggestions!
Jeff
