an 8.8 question

The E-brake parts were rusted and siezed up when I did my swap and super 88 upgrade so i left the e-brake stuff out. Now that the parts are cleaned up or replaced I have to reinstall the e-brake parts. My question is if I jack up one side at a time do I have to drain the axle oil or will it all run to the other side?
There are 3 quarts of gear oil in it.

I should have mentioned that I have to remove the axle to install longer lug bolts too.
