ok heres the problem when i hit the gas the temp gauge bounces between 0 and 200 i've pulled apart the dash and visible nothing wrong and i have replaced the temp sender what else could cause this?

Don't foget the engine block-to-firewall ground; it's a braided cable that will rust out.
