I have a 1998 jeep cherokee 4.0. I am planning to swap the intake manifold for a 99+ as well as install my pacesetter headers at the same time. the question i have is this: will i have any clearance issues with the new intake manifold and headers?

I have a 97 with the 99+ intake manifold and Banks header and I have zero clearance issues. Just be prepared to cut and extend some sensor wires, plug up some vaccum holes, and extend some vaccum lines.

Ok well the easiest way to find out if your header will work with the manifold is to see if they offer that header for 99+ XJs with the 4.0L and see if they have a different part number for those years. If they do then that means the one for the 99+ and the one for the older years are different but if not then you are good to go.
