There are a lot more threads on this too. I can't personally recommend a pair because I don't have any yet. I can tell you though that AJ's and JCR seem to be the most recommended around here. And as soon as my next paycheck gets here I will be ordering AJ's 3/16 standard rails. I just hope I don't end up wishing I had gone with the super rails.

Thanks Banderso =]

I've beat the tar out of my JCR stage 2 rails. They've held up great.

Whatever you end up going with, I highly recommend getting some with an outer rail. I use the outer tube all the time. It also aids in protecting door handles from trees.

Your biggest problem will be finding out who can deliver a set of rails in time. A friend ordered a JCR package 6 weeks ago and it won't be ready before the Crawl on July 3rd. Since we really need front pull points, I called DetoursUSA and he said he could deliver a Backbone in time. You might see what Detours can do for you.

Give AJ a call and talk to him on the phone, when I had him custom build my set from the time I first initiated conversation to when i had them in hand was 10 days. If you don't want any custom lengths then he probably has a pair sitting there ready to ship.

I thought AJ was affected by the severe weather (flood i thought I read)...

Anyways more reason to order from him imo.

Thanks everyone, im going to hit up AJ today see what he can do for me. i cant wait to have a outer rail. maybe i wont have to tear up my rims using them as a pivot point anymore =P.

AJ's all the way. Yes is dealing with the Iowa weather.

for the price you pay for them you could buy a little welder and the steel and have them in no time.

You know where to get a welder and all the 1/4" steel including self tapping bolts for under $300?

Show us a little (ie cheap) welder that will handle 1/4" steal respectably.
