So what's next?

I've dumped, what I feel, is a ton of $$ and 2 tons of time into my 88 over the past 2 months.

I've replace the AC compressor, condenser, dryer, all o-rings and charged with R-12 a few weeks ago.

Did a "tune up" with oil, oil filter, air filter, clean plugs, check rotor/cop/wires.

I just replaced the CAT and muffler yesterday

I replaced the TPS this morning.

I replaced the exh/int manifold gasket last week. Cleaned the TB and EGR sealed everything up tight,

I passed my CA smog test this morning (Hooray!!). Now, it runs GREAT shifts GREAT with 175K.

Now, I'm just waiting for something else to break.

Where does it ever end!

Do what I do, and just don't worry about it.

I have a huge list of current XJ problems, but just drive it.

As many of us, I've become quite attached to my little piece of "iron paradise".

If I was even just a little rational about it, I would have replaced it long ago. But no one ever accused me of being rational.

At least you are in S.Cal so maybe your floor pan won't rot out. Glad to hear its running good, now go have fun with it.
