No horn or cruise control...

So both the horn and cruise control buttons on my steering wheel don't work. I have a 97 XJ sport, and have already tried bypassing the steering column for shorts bad connections. Is there a fuse/relay I can replace? I dont care so much about the horn cause i have an airhorn setup, but cruise would be nice for the highway

If both the steering wheel mounted controls died at the same time, I'd look at the clock spring in the steering column.

All the cruise control switches run through resistors into the same wire. The computer sees a resistance change when you press the switches, not an open or closed circuit. Shorting the wire won't make it work.
