Trouble Troubleshooting

I am having trouble with my 93 xj automatic. When the tranny shifts into 4th gear, the engine wants to die. And also while driving down the highway at speeds above 50, the tranny jerks around. I've changed a bunch of bad engine sensors, and have been told this could be a problem with the torque converter. Any ideas?

It would speed things up if you would give the whole story up front. What sensors did you replace? TPS? How did you calibrate the TPS????

Sounds like a bad TPS to me.
