Center Pin Question... HELP!!!

After about 2 hrs of searching I felt that it was "ok" to ask for help... I feel like a!!!1 for asking but How the heck do you remove the center pin out of a Dana 35 C clip rear axle?

Jay, there should be a small bolt on the carrier that holds the pin. Take the bolt out and slide the center pin out and push the axle in to remove the clip.

I thought so too... on my detroit it had like a allen key bolt... I looked for something simalar but not luck.

I think the bolt size is a 12-pointed 1/4" wrench.

On some it's a roll pin that must be knocked out with a punch and hammer.

on my old D35, i needed a 12point 1/4" wrench to get the center pin retaining bolt out. once i got that out, the pin just fell out. on my 8.25 its a 5/16" wrench.

I thought maybe thats what it could be as I did see a small hole on the pass. side of the carrier...

Is that where its located?
