Roof racks are cool and useful, but there's already this nice flat sheet of steel up there. How about just beefing up the roof and coating it so that it could be used as the floor of a rack? Rails on the sides and front/back would be needed to hold stuff on and provide tie down points. I know people have used bedliner up there. Just seems like it would be the lightest weight/strength, least drag, best clearance option.
