Thought this would be cool and would give some of the new guys an idea of what they can do.
To start here is my jeep purchase price 800

3in rough country lift 100 bucks, free 32's

4.5 with 33's

Custom paint job

I'll bite

Stock 94 XJ purchased June 2006:

July 06: 31's on stockers, stock height

September 06: RE 3.5" SF kit added

January 07: C4x4 Fab Bumper, Con-Ferr Rack, Black Steelies

April 07: .75" coil spacer, Ford 8.8, lost the rack

April 08: Billy Bars, Trimmed front fenders (and some interior stuff you cant see)

damn john you sure got some use out of that set of tires!

wish i had stock pics of mine but i didnt start liking it till i started modding it haha

Ok, just 3" and 31's.I swear....

I need new wheels...

Ok, well maybe it would look better with 32's....

Now it needs new fenders and a paint job.......

Ok, so maybe 33's fit with the new fenders:

I like to go fast:

Ummm, i think I need a cage if I am going to be going fast:

She is a show queen...

And maybe new front shocks too:

Now i need longer rear shocks:

Now lets wheel!!

.. she won't climb.

bolt on a couple of parts. she still doesnt climb, but you can blame the loose nut behind the wheel.

Well, consider I dont drive it every day since I've got the Accord.

But yeah, I've been throughoughly impressed with the life of my retreads.

I'm Game...

Ok, I dont have a pic of stock but here are some stats. Purchased for 1300, all stock and even came complete with oil leaks and a bad head (figured that out later).

I Went to 3.5 with AAL in the rear

Now I tried to go thru a ditch

How about more suspension and bigger tires

Well since JV didn't like me at night I changed a whole bunch of things. Now at 6.5, SYE, Trurtrac up front and full case detroit in the rear. 30 spline rear axles, and lights. TSL swampers. Oh, the door is not red anymore and now I have a cage about ready to go in.

OK, I'll be a conformist...

Here it is the day I bought it

Added RE 4.5" coils, RE 4.5" leaves, RE fixed LCAs, RE adjustable UCAs, RE Drop Brackets, 33" BFG A/T's I got cheap from Troy, and front tow points

Added 2" coils, 1.5" shackles, black steelies, new Super Swampers, and steel braided brake lines

Added AJ's Super Rails, Relocated brake lines, 33" Pro Comp X-Terrains, and a front Aussie locker

Anyway...here is the 88 when I got it last year. Total Grannie wagon! $700.00

A little protection, a little lift, some tires and drivetrain work probably couldn't sell it for 1/2 what I put into it now.
